JCAAA Services - Home Support

The Home Support service includes housekeeping and home maintenance services as well as non-overnight home companion activities.

Housekeeping and home maintenance services provide for the performance of labor-intensive, unskilled or semiskilled maintenance and cleaning tasks or routing household chores. Allowable activities include:

• basic care management of the home as necessary to ensure safe and sanitary conditions
• instructions in home management
• shopping assistance (with or without consumer)
• heavy cleaning - only as necessary to maintain a consumers health and safety
• grounds maintenance (such as lawn-mowing and snow removal) - only when absolutely necessary to maintain a consumer in his/her home
